Long COVID, also known as Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC), refers to a range of symptoms that persist for weeks or months after the acute phase of a COVID-19 infection has resolved. These symptoms can include fatigue, shortness of breath, cognitive difficulties (often referred to as "brain fog"), and other systemic issues, affecting multiple organ systems. The condition is still being studied to understand its causes, risk factors, and long-term impacts on health.
