    GlossaryMale Unpatterned Hair Loss

diffuse thinning of hair across the entire male scalp

Male Unpatterned Hair Loss (MUHH) refers to a type of hair loss in men that does not follow the typical patterns seen in male pattern baldness, such as receding hairlines or balding at the crown. Instead, it involves a more diffuse thinning of hair across the entire scalp. This condition can be more challenging to diagnose and treat because it doesn't exhibit the characteristic patterns of androgenetic alopecia.
