    Enoxaparin, also known by the brand name Lovenox, is a type of anticoagulant medication known as low molecular weight heparin (LMWH). It is used to prevent and treat blood clots, such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), by inhibiting certain factors in the blood clotting process.
