This study reports that in a single-case study, a 24-year-old female with alopecia areata experienced significant hair regrowth after undergoing seven sessions of Jalaukavacharana (leech therapy) along with Ayurvedic medication, suggesting these treatments may be beneficial for such cases.

In this case report, a 30-year-old woman with sudden eyebrow and eyelash hair loss was treated using Ayurvedic methods including herbal decoctions, leech therapy, and oil massage, resulting in significant hair regrowth by the 45th and 60th days.

In this study, a 63-year-old woman with tinea capitis experienced promising improvements in symptoms such as pain, itching, and mild hair loss after undergoing Ayurvedic treatments, including rakta mokshana and shamana aushadi, over a period of 35 days.
