    Genetic predisposition, also known as genetic susceptibility, refers to an increased likelihood of developing a particular disease or condition based on a person's genetic makeup. This means that certain inherited genes can make an individual more susceptible to conditions like alopecia, but it doesn't guarantee that the person will develop the condition; environmental factors and lifestyle choices also play a significant role.
