    Chronic Urticaria, also known as Chronic Hives or Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria (CIU), is a condition characterized by the presence of hives or wheals on the skin that persist for six weeks or longer. The exact cause is often unknown, making it idiopathic, and it can significantly impact a person's quality of life.
