A C18 Column, also known as an Octadecylsilane (ODS) Column, is a type of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) column used for separating and analyzing compounds in a mixture. It is packed with silica particles bonded with long-chain hydrocarbons (18 carbon atoms), making it highly effective for separating non-polar to moderately polar compounds based on their hydrophobic interactions.
