This study assessed biocompatible artificial hair implants in patients with androgenetic alopecia, observing improvements in appearance and socio-psychological benefits after multiple implant sessions.

In this study, the use of Biofibre hair implants showed significant improvements in scalp coverage and Hamilton scale grading for 97.94% of male and female patients with androgenetic alopecia after two years, with minimal and manageable side effects reported.

This study reported that the Biofibre® hair implantation system, used on 1,518 patients with various degrees of baldness and causes of alopecia, delivered immediate and visible results without scarring or hospitalization, which greatly improved patients' self-esteem and psychological well-being.
