    Aromatic plants, also known as fragrant or scented plants, are species that produce essential oils or compounds responsible for their distinctive smells. These plants often contain volatile organic compounds in their leaves, flowers, or stems, which can be used in perfumery, aromatherapy, and traditional medicine. Examples include lavender, rosemary, and mint.
