This study suggests that Acrotrema arnottianum, a herb used in traditional medicine, contains biologically active metabolites like squalene and α-Tocopherol. It showed antibacterial effects against Staphylococcus aureus and antifungal properties against Candida albicans, while demonstrating antioxidant activity.
