TLDR Yeast extract helps treat hair loss and activates stem cells.
In a study conducted 9 years ago, Yeast Constituent Extract (YCE) was found to be effective in treating hair loss and acting as a stem cell activator. The study involved 10 patients with Androgenic alopecia, who applied YCE to their hair loss areas twice daily for 6 months. All patients showed significant hair growth after 3 months, with further growth, thickening, and strengthening of hair observed after 6 months. The density of hair increased, indicating the effectiveness of the treatment. Additionally, the content of growth factors (IGF, VEGF, FGF, HGF) derived from hair follicle stem cells was found to be about 10 times greater after the test, suggesting that YCE plays a role as a stem cell activator.
