TLDR Video teaching greatly improved PCOS knowledge among female engineering students.
A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching on knowledge regarding polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) among 60 female computer engineering students. The study used a pre-experimental research design with one group pre and post-test design. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge about PCOS post-intervention, with pre-test results showing 95% of participants had poor knowledge and 5% had good knowledge, while post-test results showed 100% of participants had excellent knowledge. The study concluded that video assisted teaching was an effective tool to raise the knowledge of female engineering students regarding PCOS.
