Knowledge and Attitudes of Non-Medical Faculty Students Batch 2020 About Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome at Tarumanagara University

    TLDR Most non-medical students at Tarumanagara University have good knowledge and attitudes about PCOS.
    The study conducted at Tarumanagara University aimed to assess the knowledge and attitudes of non-medical faculty students regarding Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). The qualitative research with a descriptive design was carried out from January to May 2022 using questionnaires. The results showed that 47% of the students had "Good" knowledge about PCOS, 42% had "Sufficient" knowledge, and 11% had "Bad" knowledge. In terms of attitudes, 95% of the students had a "Good" attitude towards PCOS, while 5% had a "Sufficient" attitude. Additionally, 17% of the participants were suspected of suffering from PCOS. Overall, the level of knowledge and attitude of the non-medical faculty students towards PCOS was predominantly categorized as "good".
