The study evaluated the efficacy of Sonirid Duo, a combination of tamsulosin and finasteride, in treating 46 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) over 12 months. The results indicated significant improvements: the severity of clinical symptoms decreased from 18.7 to 7.8 on the IPSS scale, quality of life improved from 4.4 to 2.0 on the QoL scale, maximum urinary flow rate increased from 8.3 ml/s to 12.9 ml/s, and prostate volume reduced from 75.1 cm³ to 56.2 cm³. The study concluded that Sonirid Duo was a highly effective treatment for BPH.
