Use of Topical Minoxidil in Latissimus Dorsi Flap: Our Experience

This study explored the effectiveness of topically applied minoxidil in preventing flap necrosis through the pharmacological delay phenomenon. The researchers applied topical minoxidil on a latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction for a patient who had undergone neoadjuvant chemoradiation. They found that topical minoxidil was effective in preventing flap necrosis in this context.
