TLDR Combining CAF regimen with fufangbanmao capsules improves thyroid cancer treatment outcomes and reduces side effects.
The study investigated the effects of combining the CAF regimen with fufangbanmao capsules in treating thyroid cancer in 118 patients post-radical mastectomy. The experimental group (CAF + fufangbanmao) showed significantly better outcomes than the control group (CAF alone), with an ORR of 91.53% and DCR of 96.61%. Improvements were noted in immune function (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+, NK indexes) and quality of life (physiological, psychological, physical, and sleep conditions). Additionally, the experimental group experienced lower drug toxicity, including reduced joint pain, bone marrow suppression, and alopecia. The combination treatment enhanced short-term efficacy, immunity, and quality of life while reducing toxicity.
