Comparative Evaluation of Systemic and Hair Growth Pathways for the Detection and Assessment of Chronic Stress

TLDR Hair growth pathways are a promising and simpler method for detecting chronic stress.
This study compared the effectiveness of hair growth pathways and serum in detecting and assessing chronic stress using 30 female albino rats divided into three groups. The study found that hair growth pathways could effectively detect chronic stress through biomarkers such as sodium, calcium, C-reactive protein, prolactin, cortisol, and DHEA, providing a novel and simpler methodology for stress assessment. Both hair and serum pathways showed significant results, but hair pathways offer a promising alternative for chronic stress detection.
