The five-year retrospective study in the United Arab Emirates from 2018 to 2022 revealed a significant increase in syphilis cases, particularly in 2020, with a 96% indication rate from the Syphilis AB test. Co-infections with HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and HPV were observed, while HBV and HCV remained stable. Alopecia syphilitica was a rare clinical feature, present in only 2% of cases. Despite high treatment rates, re-infection rates increased in 2021, highlighting the need for ongoing vigilance and targeted preventive measures.
