The study synthesized and characterized an inclusion complex of minoxidil with β-cyclodextrin. The results showed the formation of a 1:1 complex between the two components, with a weak interaction in solution. The encapsulation of minoxidil with β-cyclodextrin is believed to increase its solubility and wettability, leading to a supported and gradual release of the drug and maximizing its biodisponibility over time.
