TLDR Ayurvedic treatment improved hair growth in a person with hair loss.
In a case study from 2018, a 26-year-old patient experiencing hair loss and previously under allopathic treatment showed improvement after undergoing Ayurvedic treatment. The treatment included Udwardhanam with triphala choorna and kulatha choornam for seven days, followed by marsha nasya with Anu tailam for seven days and Shadbindhu tailam for fourteen days, alongside internal medicines. The treatment was administered once daily for a total of 21 days. The patient's hair growth and thickness increased after the treatment. The study concluded that hair loss can be effectively managed with Ayurvedic remedies such as Nasya and Udhwardhana, but it also noted that this is a single case and more in-depth research is needed to understand and treat similar clinical conditions.
