TLDR Microneedling can improve hair loss treatment results.
Microneedling, a minimally invasive technique initially developed in 1995, has shown promise as an adjunct therapy for androgenic alopecia (AGA). This review article highlights that several clinical studies have demonstrated positive outcomes when microneedling is used alongside traditional treatments like minoxidil. The review focused on literature from 2008 to 2022, excluding non-English documents and non-major scientific investigations. The findings suggest that microneedling can enhance treatment results for AGA, offering a beneficial addition to dermatological practices.
