The review highlights the distinct processing methods of green, oolong, and black teas, emphasizing their high polyphenol content. As global demand for tea rises, tea-producing countries like China, India, and Kenya face challenges with low market prices and high production costs, prompting them to explore value-added products. These include nutraceutical beverages, confectionery, toiletries, and cosmeceuticals, which are gaining global popularity. The review also discusses the challenges in marketing these diverse tea products worldwide.
