    TLDR Standardized rules are needed for consistent Romanized prescription names in Korean Traditional Medicine.
    The review analyzed Romanized prescription nomenclature in the Journal of Korean Medicine, revealing inconsistencies with existing guidelines. Out of 142 Romanized prescription names, only 72 adhered to the Society of Korean Medicine's guidelines, and 117 were italicized without guideline support. The study highlighted the need for standardized regulations to improve information accessibility and searchability in Korean Traditional Medicine.
