It highlighted various traditional methods such as moxibustion, acupuncture, and herbal treatments, which have been used historically in Korean medicine. The study noted that pilosis was first recognized as a disease in 610 A.D. and that traditional treatments focused on both internal and external approaches. The integration of modern technology with traditional methods was suggested to enhance advancements in cosmetology.
