Status of Research on Structure Performance and Processing of Rabbit Hair

The research on rabbit hair in 2011 focused on its structure, performance, fiber modification, spinning, and comprehensive utilization. Studies on the structure aimed to enhance animal hair discrimination, while mechanical properties were a key area of performance research. Modifications involved using DCCA and protease on rabbit hair fibers. Advances in spinning included developing yarns with a high ratio of rabbit hair and multi-component rabbit hair yarns. Additionally, new applications were explored by preparing and characterizing rabbit hair fiber powders.
