TLDR Early diagnosis and personalized treatment improve fertility and quality of life for women with reproductive endocrine disorders.
Reproductive endocrine disorders such as infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and endometriosis significantly affect women's reproductive health. This review discusses the diagnosis and management of these conditions, highlighting that infertility is often linked to ovulatory dysfunction, PCOS, and endometriosis. PCOS is diagnosed using the Rotterdam criteria and managed through lifestyle changes, medications, and sometimes surgery. Endometriosis, diagnosed via laparoscopy, causes pain and infertility, with treatments focusing on pain relief and fertility preservation, often using assisted reproductive technologies like IVF. The review stresses the importance of individualized treatment plans that combine medical, surgical, and lifestyle approaches, as well as the significance of early diagnosis and advances in therapy to improve fertility and quality of life for women with these disorders.
