The patient exhibited multiple hyperpigmented scaly plaques on various parts of her body, including the scalp, trunk, and limbs, while experiencing patchy hair loss on the scalp that was notably free of these plaques. The report highlights an intriguing immunological interaction between these two autoimmune conditions, where the presence of one disorder appears to inhibit the manifestation of the other in the affected areas.
