The study aimed to create a hair tonic using ethanol extracts of talok (Muntingia calabura) and pare (Momordica charantia L.) leaves in two combinations: 7.5% talok and 2% pare, and 3.75% talok and 1% pare. These were tested on female Wistar rats and compared to a minoxidil-containing tonic. Hair length was measured on days 10, 20, and 30, and hair weight on day 30. Both combinations maintained stable pH over 8 weeks. The 7.5% talok and 2% pare combination showed hair growth comparable to minoxidil, with a 64.71% increase, and no significant difference in effectiveness was found between this combination and minoxidil.
