TLDR Prostaglandin analogs like Latanoprost might help grow hair on the scalp and body.
In the document from 2003, it was reported that Latanoprost, a prostaglandin analog, had been observed to stimulate eyelash growth in patients who were using it in eye preparations to treat glaucoma. Additionally, when applied topically, it was found to promote body and scalp hair growth in various animal models. This led to speculation about the potential of prostaglandin analogs as future treatments for different forms of alopecia.
