TLDR PRF is better than PRP for endometrial repair.
This study compared the effects of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on human endometrial stromal cells (hESCs) in 5 infertile women, aiming to improve treatments for thin endometrium (TE). Both PRP and PRF inhibited apoptosis and promoted cell proliferation and migration, but PRF showed a more sustained release of growth factors, suggesting a longer-lasting therapeutic effect. This indicates that PRF could be a more effective treatment for endometrial regeneration and repair, offering a potential alternative to PRP in clinical applications. Further research is needed to confirm its safety and efficacy.
