Pregnancy, Hair Loss, and the Pill

    TLDR Stopping the pill and giving birth both caused hair loss.
    A patient experienced diffuse hair loss 2 months after stopping oral contraceptive therapy and again 2 months after giving birth. No clinical abnormalities were found. The timing and type of hair loss in both instances suggested a similar underlying cause.
