TLDR A rare skin rash after COVID-19 vaccination shouldn't stop future vaccinations.
A case report described a rare occurrence of a pityriasis rosea (PR)-like eruption in a 52-year-old Thai woman with glioblastoma, which developed 14 days after receiving the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. The condition showed a partial response to treatment with topical 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide applied twice daily for seven days. Despite this rare adverse effect, the report emphasized that a PR-like eruption should not be considered a contraindication for future COVID-19 vaccinations.
