TLDR Post-COVID-19 patients often experience musculoskeletal issues, fitness decline, behavioral changes, chest pain, cough, hair loss, and nervous system problems.
This study aimed to analyze the post-Covid-19 clinical effects on patients from a pulmonology clinic in the metropolitan region of Goiânia, GO. It was an observational, descriptive, and cross-sectional study that examined the prevalence of clinical manifestations in recovered patients, considering lifestyle habits, associated comorbidities, and socioeconomic conditions through structured interviews. The most frequent repercussions included musculoskeletal issues with decreased physical fitness, behavioral and psychiatric changes, chest pain, residual cough, telogen effluvium, and central nervous system alterations. Key comorbidities were obesity, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes. Additionally, sedentary lifestyle, prolonged smoking, and long-term biomass burning exposure were linked to post-Covid-19 sequelae. The findings align with current literature, indicating that chronic manifestations of Covid-19 remain uncertain.
