The research focuses on formulating and evaluating a poly herbal hair oil using flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum) to moisturize and nourish hair. Flaxseed is rich in α-linolenic acid, lignans, and fiber, which improve circulation and promote hair growth. The oil contains beneficial substances like Omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, and calcium, which help remove toxins and dead cells from the scalp, potentially preventing hair loss and promoting new hair growth. The study highlights the advantages of herbal cosmetics, which are safer and have fewer negative effects compared to synthetic products. Additionally, ingredients like curry leaves are noted for their potential to stimulate hair growth and address issues such as hair loss, thinning, and dandruff.
