Formulation and Evaluation of Polyherbal Hair Oil

The study focused on formulating and evaluating a polyherbal hair oil using a mixture of crude drugs, including fruits of Embelica officinalis, flowers of Hibiscus rosasinensis, leaves of Ocimum sanctum, Azadirachta indica, and seeds of Trigonella foenum-graecum. The herbal hair oil was prepared using the boiling cloth method and tested for hair growth activity, refractive index, acid value, and saponification value. The results indicated excellent hair growth activity, suggesting that this herbal formulation could be a potent alternative to synthetic hair oils, offering fewer side effects and better safety.
