TLDR Blood count parameters are not reliable for predicting recurrent implantation failure.
This retrospective study involving 150 women with recurrent implantation failure (RIF) and 163 controls found that platelet (PLT), plateletcrit (PCT), and lymphocyte counts were significantly lower in RIF patients. However, these parameters were not effective predictors of RIF due to low sensitivity and specificity in ROC analysis. The study concludes that while these blood cell counts are reduced in RIF patients, they are not reliable for predicting RIF, and further prospective studies with larger populations are needed to explore the relationship between these markers and RIF.
