The review discussed the potential of nano-phytopharmaceuticals, derived from plant extracts, in treating locomotor, dermal, reproductive, and urinary tract disorders by enhancing the bioavailability and efficacy of phytochemicals. Despite advancements in nanotechnology and its applications in various industries, including pharmaceutics and cosmetics, the review highlighted a significant gap in clinical and extensive preclinical studies. While research in this area was expanding, strong evidence supporting the efficacy and safety of these nano-phytopharmaceuticals for human use remained limited. The review emphasized the need for ensuring long-term efficacy and safety before these materials could become common therapeutics.
