    TLDR Watermelon rind extract and orange peel essential oil can effectively treat hair loss.
    This study developed an oleogel combining watermelon rind extract and orange peel essential oil to address hair loss, tested on male DDY mice. The oleogel, containing 3% watermelon rind extract and 1% orange peel essential oil, achieved 100% hair growth in mice. Physical quality tests confirmed the formulations met standard requirements, with Formula F3 (1% watermelon rind extract and 3% orange peel essential oil) being the most preferred by 30 respondents from IPB University. The research suggests these ingredients are effective for hair loss treatment.
