TLDR Nutrition can improve hair strength and reduce breakage.
This pilot clinical study evaluated the effects of a dietary supplement on hair resistance in patients experiencing hair loss due to breakage. Participants with both virgin and processed hair ingested the supplement for 90 days. Results showed clinical improvement in hair strength and shine, with a statistically significant reduction in hair breakage (p <0.05). The study concluded that nutrition played a role in maintaining hair resistance, and supplementation could enhance the synthesis of hair structures.
