Non-Invasive Management of Head and Neck Neuralgia: A Literature Review

This literature review examines non-invasive management strategies for head and neck neuralgia, a condition affecting millions globally. Utilizing the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD-3), the review categorizes neuralgia types and identifies several effective non-invasive treatments, including physiotherapy, pharmacological treatments, Pulsed Radiofrequency, local anesthesia blocks, Botulinum toxin injections, and non-invasive neuromodulation. The findings underscore the importance of customizing treatment plans to individual patient needs based on the specific type of neuralgia, thereby optimizing clinical outcomes.
