This condition significantly impacts their quality of life, leading to psychological issues such as stress, depression, and disrupted social relationships. The study suggests that non-ablative Er:YAG-laser treatment can improve the quality of life for these women, offering a potential medical treatment option to address the emotional and social challenges associated with FPHL.
