The study investigated the effect of a dietary supplement containing nicotinamide on horses with insect bite hypersensitivity (IBH), involving 50 horses, with 46 completing the study. Over 3 months, 25 horses received the supplement while 25 received a placebo. Monthly evaluations included lesion photography, investigator scoring, and owner questionnaires.
