    The study investigated the effectiveness of a natural product fermentation mixture, including Sasa Borealis, for scalp and hair care. The fermented product demonstrated superior antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities, as well as enhanced dermal papilla cell proliferation. When applied to hair damaged by heat perm and dyeing, the mixture increased tensile strength and glossiness, as confirmed by SEM imaging. The findings suggested that Sasa Borealis leaf fermented product could be a valuable raw material for cosmetics, with potential applications in improving hair health. Future research was anticipated to explore the pharmacological mechanisms involved.
