TLDR The modified lateral brow lift effectively lifts the outer brow with fewer side effects than traditional methods.
The "modified lateral brow lift" was a surgical technique developed to address the aging of the lateral third of the brow, which aged first and most significantly. This method combined elements of endoscopic and open coronal brow lifts, using small hidden incisions and deep tissue fixation along with full thickness scalp excision. It aimed to preserve sensory innervation of the scalp while securely fixing the elevated lateral brow. The technique was noted for its minimal side effects and complications, offering a more effective solution for lateral brow elevation compared to traditional methods.
