Minoxidil-Containing Dosage Forms: Skin Retention and After-Rinsing Hair-Growth Promotion
January 2003
in “Drug Delivery”
TLDR Minoxidil-containing vesicles improve hair growth.
This study investigated the effectiveness of different minoxidil-containing dosage forms in promoting hair growth. The researchers found that cationic vesicles containing minoxidil had appreciable skin retention and promoted hair growth, while the other formulations did not show significant results. The study suggests that minoxidil-containing vesicles may be a promising option for hair growth promotion.
