TLDR A man regrew hair after using a specific cream for skin treatment.
A 45-year-old man with a ten-year history of male pattern baldness began regrowing terminal hair after his scalp was treated with 2% fluorouracil for actinic keratosis, followed by 0.5% triamcinolone acetonide cream. After 21 days of treatment, he experienced significant erythema and edema, which subsided after discontinuing fluorouracil and continuing triamcinolone therapy. Hair regrowth was observed when the patient returned five months later.
