A 45-year-old man with a ten-year history of male pattern baldness began regrowing terminal hair after his scalp was treated with 2% fluorouracil for actinic keratosis. The treatment, which also included 0.5% triamcinolone acetonide cream, initially caused significant erythema and edema, leading to the discontinuation of fluorouracil. Upon follow-up several months later, hair regrowth was observed.
