This study investigated the effects of Trigona bee honey on dogs with dermatitis. Ten dogs with complex dermatitis were given 5 ml of honey daily for 35 days. Weekly clinical observations and histopathological examinations on days 0, 7, and 21 showed that honey treatment reduced symptoms like erythema and promoted hair regrowth at alopecia sites. Histological analysis revealed a significant decrease in inflammatory cells (p<0.05). The study concluded that Trigona honey is effective in treating dermatitis in dogs.
