TLDR Younger Jordanians know more about rosemary, often using it for hair and stomach issues.
The study assessed the knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of rosemary use among 407 Jordanians, revealing that younger participants had higher knowledge scores. About 48.2% used rosemary for medical purposes, with most using it to improve hair condition (82.1%) and for gastrointestinal issues (67.9%). Rosemary was commonly obtained from home cultivation or herbalists, influenced by family and friends. The findings underscore the need for better knowledge dissemination to ensure safe and effective use of rosemary.
