TLDR Ivermectin 0.1% is the best and safest topical treatment for rabbit mange.
The study investigated the effectiveness of using Ivermectin as a topical treatment for rabbit mange, a contagious disease causing pruritus, alopecia, and crust formation. Forty-two rabbits were divided into seven groups, each receiving different treatments. The results showed that Cebacil gel was toxic, causing 100% mortality, while Ivermectin 0.1% was the most effective, achieving 100% survival, no persistent skin scales, and significant improvements in biochemical blood parameters. Ivermectin 0.1% was recommended as the preferred topical treatment for rabbit mange due to its efficacy and safety.
