TLDR A new method efficiently isolates and cultures rat hair follicle cells.

The study developed a simple and efficient two-step digestion method for isolating and culturing epithelial cells from rat vibrissa follicles. The process involved digesting the follicles in 0.2% collagenase I and 0.1% trypsin, which reduced labor and contamination risk. The isolated cells were positive for keratin 19 staining, confirming successful isolation.
